In total Mom of 4 fashion we assembled and decorated our ginger bread house a month late. I don't even know how we ended up with one this year. The kids have been asking me to make it all through December. Now that we are through the holiday madness we finally have time. I suppose they should be grateful it even got done. Let's be
honest its a delayed Christmas miracle.

The beauty of a delayed gingerbread house is there is no pressure or need to make it last through Christmas so they started eating the candy off of it right away.

This is the gingerbread house one day later aaaannnnndddd then it went into the trash. I think a 24 hour life span on a gingerbread house is very reasonable. It's just one more thing you have to find a place for and try to keep the kids away from.
Luke slept 9 hours on Tuesday this week. We are all hoping to make this a habit. Probably the main reason the gingerbread house happened. I wasn't stumbling around in exhaustion all day. =0)
