I'd like to say charming family of 6. Probably would be more appropriate to call it like I see it. I am the ring leader of my favorite circus and it's pretty much non-stop entertainment. If I can just stay awake so I don't miss it.

Our Grand Exit!!

First thing in the morning we took the kids and all of our suitcases over to Grandpa and Grandma Iba's. They are going to play all day while we do all the work. Lucky!!!

It's really surprising how much stuff you have when you have to put it all in boxes and make it fit on a truck. I can't figure out how we accumulated so much stuff so fast. The best part is when you plan ahead of time to be really organized with your packing and at the end you have lost the ability to care. I have created some REALLY random boxes these last couple of days.

Whenever I see this picture, I think it looks like the house regurgitated all of our stuff out on the driveway through the garage of course. Getting everything outside happened really fast. Loading the truck was slow and precise. If it was all going to fit. It was amazing to see it happen. The only thing that didn't make it on was my food storage barrels.

We went back to Grandpa and Grandma's and found the kids crashed out on a mattress on the floor.

In the morning Marissa asked me if we were going back home now. I couldn't help but laugh. I explained to her plenty of times that we weren't going to be coming home and that it wasn't going to be our house anymore. Sooooooo......

We took the kids back to the house so they could see it for themselves. They ran around in all the open spaces and there were plenty of those.

They opened every closet and cupboard and called each other to come and see. I think it helped Marissa understand that it wasn't our house anymore.

Oliver was thinking it was just a different kind of party. He was playing with the only thing that was left. The roll of plastic wrap on the floor in the front room. Goofy kid. He was running around, talking loud, like the other kids.

Oliver still won't take a group picture.

No offense to the rest of you but this is definitely my favorite group of monkeys.

It's exciting to experience something new and different. It's sad to say goodbye to our first home. We really enjoyed living in Sandy. We have so many wonderful memories of this house. I'm excited for our next chapter and seriously I am really glad that the moving out phase is over. Atleast it feels like we are halfway done. Sheesh, I am exhausted.

Our last night!!

Oliver is watching a movie on a 3 inch screen. It's the only the T.V. left and we need him to stay out of the way. He doesn't seem to mind.

We decided to have fun with our last night in the house. We moved all the furn
iture out of the way in the family room and moved the kids mattresses down. We decided to have a good-bye party with a movie and snacks. The kids were really into it. It's basically a great big sleepover for them. I'm sleeping in my own bed.

Dad arrived home from California just in time for the show.

Marissa has her moving buddy. She is daddy's girl 100%.

These two boys have a lot in common. They even sleep the same way. Arms out and belly buttons showing.

This was so much fun and will be a great memory. I don't think any of them will even remember it, except maybe Andrew. Starting tomorrow we have two days to move everything out and clean the house. I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

Taking a break. Enjoying every minute of it.

The move is so close now. We have been working and working and working. This was a great night. Paul is at work in California. The kids all took a bath and we started getting really silly.

We just enjoyed being together. These are some of my favorite moments.

Oliver is against group pictures and would only smile if I was taking a picture of him. Stinker!

Luke is blowing bubbles for us, which Andrew just can't stop laughing at.

Mothers Day Lunch!!

May 7, 2010

This was wonderful. Andrew's school had the Mom's bring lunch for their 2nd graders and enjoy it out on the lawn.

This was a great way to spend one on one time with Andrew. We haven't had a lot of that lately.

He is so punk rock.

This was a great break from all the madness.

April 30, 2010

Getting serious about packing.

We only have Dad home for 2 weeks till we move. We have to make the most of it. We are packing everything we can.

Oliver worked the hardest!! Just wait until you see the video.

Apparently packing was so successful that Marissa was left with only packing paper and a tube of Desitin to play with.

Luke fell asleep playing with Marissa's My Little Pony. It just wore him out.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!

This was adorable. A Magical Mom moment. Andrew noticed that we didn't have a cake for my bithday. Being in the middle of the week, Paul out of town, dealing with the repair request by the buyers, I didn't really have a birthday. I honestly didn't even notice, but Andrew did. So we bought a small cheesecake after school and when Oliver and Luke went to bed we sang happy birthday to Mom and had some cake.

Happy 32nd Birthday.

We goofed around for a while. It is the best birthday on record.

Happy Birthday Paul April 14. Sadly he spent his birthday in Arizona.

Goodbye Party/Birthday Party at the Ibas

We are officially under contract for our Sandy home. With an offer and acceptance our move out date is May 15, 2010. Paul and I both have birthday's in April so we all gathered at Grandpa and Grandma's for an all in one party. These are my favorite pictures from the party.

Andrew and Maddy

A row of beautiful girls in their sunday dress.

Marissa has so much fun with all the girls and Dad just kept taking more and more pictures of the girls.

Look at Luke. Already pushing up. He has such an innocent face but we all know he has big plans once he becomes mobile.

April 17, 2010. I had taken this cute picture the night before the party. Look at these cute boys hanging out with Mom.

Wow what a week. When it comes to moving I am rusty. We haven't moved in 7 years. Time to pull out the boxes, everything goes.
